Collection: My Favorite Sweatshirts

A few months ago, I received a message from a woman named Val. Years ago, she created beautiful, hand-sewn Amish-themed sweatshirts and sold them in New Wilmington and Lancaster. But life moved on, and so did her art. Until one day, she was praying… asking God where He might use her work as a mission.

And then, she found me.

She shared her story, and without hesitation, I said, “Let’s meet up! I’d love to help you share your art with the world.” Because if you know me, you know my heart for supporting artisans, celebrating handmade craftsmanship, and sharing stories that matter.

 And yesterday, I finally got to see Val’s work in person.

I was absolutely blown away. These aren’t just sweatshirts. They are wearable works of art. Val doesn’t just print a design—she draws each one by hand, carefully layering fabrics to bring them to life. No photo can truly capture the detail, the heart, and the craftsmanship in these pieces.

She gave me four sweatshirts to share with you all.

Later, when my daughter and I were photographing them, I saw something that stopped me in my tracks.

Look closely at the first design. An Amish woman is hanging a quilt on the line.

Now, zoom in.

Her hands are reaching out—right toward the cross hanging around my neck.

In that moment, I knew God was speaking.

This wasn’t just a beautiful sweatshirt. It was a message.

A reminder that we are all seeking.

This Amish woman—she represents so many. Working hard, trying to do everything right, trying to be good enough. But the truth? She doesn’t have to strive. She is already loved. Already known. Already His.

And so are you.

God is amazing, isn’t He? He speaks to us in the most unexpected ways—even through a sweatshirt.
