Handwoven Amish Rag Rug – Made by Sam

These beautiful rag rugs are lovingly woven by Sam, a young Amish man who has cerebral palsy. Sam works together with his mother, Susan, using a loom to transform pieces of scrap fabric into something both useful and beautiful.

Each rug is colorful, durable, and truly one of a kind. The fabrics come together in a patchwork of cheerful colors that brighten any space in your home.

Because these rugs are tightly woven without a backing, they are completely reversible, giving you twice the life and versatility. They are perfect for kitchens, entryways, bathrooms, laundry rooms, or beside a bed.

Each rug measures approximately 26" x 44".

My Amish friends say these rugs are machine washable, but please use your judgment. Many newer washing machines are more delicate than the older machines these rugs were traditionally washed in.

Please note that because these rugs are handmade from scrap fabric, colors may vary slightly from the photos shown. We do our very best to match them as closely as possible.

Every rug is a small piece of Amish craftsmanship and a meaningful way to support a hardworking family.
